has anyone else had the fucking creepy experience where just briefly visiting an online storefront in a web browser resulted in getting subscribed to that store’s email mailing list without consent? I’ve had this happen due to visiting a storefront on a fresh work computer with none of my personal information associated with it, and due to someone else visiting a storefront on their computer, both on my Internet connection. in both cases my personal email was registered for the mailing list.
